The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) is a government agency that was established in 2012 to manage the country's sovereign wealth fund. The NSIA in a broader spectrum, is an investment institution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - set up to manage funds in excess of budgeted hydrocarbon revenues. It's recently declared sovereign wealth asset stands at $2,959,068,080.

The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) has announced a 2023 Prize for Startups and Technology Entrepreneurs. The prize will be worth a total of $225,000. The NSIA has launched the prize to celebrate Nigeria’s young entrepreneurs, who are driving the country’s growth and innovation. The prize will be open to startups and tech entrepreneurs who are aged 35 or younger and have a proven track record in their field.


Applications are now open till April 8, 2023. To enter, applicants must complete an online application form and submit a business plan, financial projections, and a video pitch. The prize will be awarded to the entrepreneur who demonstrates the most innovation, potential for growth, and social impact.

The programme is open to graduates of any discipline who are interested in a career in investment analysis. The programme provides participants with the opportunity to gain an understanding of the NSIA's investment strategy and how it is implemented. Participants will also be exposed to the various aspects of investment analysis, including economic analysis, financial analysis, and sector analysis.
